| The Big Island has so many wonderful places it was hard to narrow down the list when Dad came to visit. I must say, I worked him hard, but I wanted to make sure he saw all the beauty this island has to offer. First though was an introduction into the line dancing community in Waimea. |

| With a hike over a lava field covered in naupaka, the fishing adventure began. As the sun set, fish started biting. The full moon rose over the ocean illuminating each one as it was reeled in, one after another - one wahanui, nine aweoweo, and a mempachi.
